Hawzah News Agency- A member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts said,” The US Secretary of State explicitly states that "Our main war with Iran is a war with the Imam of the Time (PBUH)" and undoubtedly, this is the truth.”
Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, in a video message, by expressing his condolences for the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, stated,” I offer my condolences for the great tragedy and martyrdom of the Imam of the Muslims, the great martyr of the nation, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, to the presence of the Imam of the Age (PBUH) and to all people, the Islamic world, and to all the oppressed people of the world.”
A member of the Supreme Council of Islamic Seminaries added,” I also congratulate the worthy, and decisive election of Ayatollah Sayyed Mujtaba Khamenei as the successor of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to all the nation, the Islamic world, the resistance front and the oppressed.”
A member of Iran’s Assembly of Leadership Experts further continued,” By the grace of God, the election of Ayatollah Sayyed Mujtaba Khamenei to the position of the leadership of the Islamic community was carried out with great care, careful consideration, and deep insight by the Assembly of Experts.”
“The most suitable person to assume this heavy responsibility is Ayatollah Sayyed Mujtaba Khamenei.” He added.
The senior cleric added,” For a long time, the Assembly of Experts has been trying to identify someone who can take on the responsibility of the leadership of the Islamic community, but with the passage of time, personalities change, and some of them pass away or reach martyrdom, and therefore, the efforts to evaluate and identify the most suitable figure for Islamic leadership also lead to different results over time.”
A member of the Assembly of Experts in Qom, referring to the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, said, "In this recent period, after the great tragedy of the martyrdom of Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, the Leadership Council, relying on its research and study background in the best qualifications for the leadership of the affairs of the nation, and after renewed reviews in the past week, reached the conclusion that the most suitable person for this important responsibility is Ayatollah Sayyed Mujtaba Khamenei.”
